IPEDS Data Feedback Reports

The Integrated Post Secondary Education Data System (IPEDS) is the core post secondary education data collection program for the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES). Data is collected from all primary providers of post secondary education in the country in such areas as enrollments, program completions, graduation rates, faculty, staff, finances, institutional prices, and student financial aid. This data is made available on the IPEDS web site to students, researchers and others.

Components Include:

  • IC - Institutional Characteristics
  • C - Completions
  • EF - Enrollment
  • GRS - Graduation Rates
  • SFA - Student Financial Aid
  • HR - Human Resources
  • F – Finance

The IPEDS Data Center is a consumer information tool designed to enable students, institutions, and university administrators to compare a post secondary institution to a customizable group of peer or aspirational institutions. It provides a variety of analytical features for peer analysis. This includes the ability to create new calculated variables, to sort and rank schools based on the data items selected, and to view standard report templates.

A summary level snapshot of the data results are provided to the institutions each year. The following are the IPEDS Data Feedback Reports (DFRs) for KSU:
