Kenneth L. Bridges is the newest member of the EIM Information Reporting team. As Director for Enterprise Financial Reporting he provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for the SAS Financial Management (FM) Solution. Ken will be working closely with other members of the EIM leadership team to ensure a tight alignment of the FM solution with the transactional PeopleSoft and Banner A/R databases. His focus is extensively on the provision of SAS-powered financial data management and reporting capabilities where they are most needed throughout the university.

Ken brings with him over 25 years of related professional, technical, and project management experience. Since 2000, Ken has managed a number of enterprise implementations at Kennesaw, including PeopleSoft HRMS and Financials ERP systems, KRONOS Time & Leave management system, and the Chemical Tracking Management system. In 2007, Ken was the architect in creating Kennesaw’s Project Management Office (PMO), and has served as a member of the CIO’s ITAC advisory committee. He was instrumental on a number of technical enterprise initiatives, including Budget & Expense and Revenue portal reporting applications, P-Card Works system, and AGS enhancements. His knowledge in SQL, PL/SQL, as well as Oracle Portal has been instrumental in supporting various ad hoc financial reporting needs for end users.

Ken joined KSU in 1996. He holds a B.S degree from Kennesaw State University in Mathematics and was the first at Kennesaw to earn in 2005 the Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification. Prior to joining KSU, Ken ran a successful consultancy managing various projects for companies as diverse as Coca-Cola, AT&T, Fannie Mae, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and American Red Cross. He started his career with Union Carbide, a chemical and consumer products company since acquired by Dow Chemical, where he held a number of technical and programming positions.
